Training and Workshops
As a student of the Digital Career Program, you will receive soft-skills training which will help you to prepare yourself for the job hunt. After completion, you will have a better understanding of the German (tech) labor market and the recruiting processes. Also, you will know how to write great applications, how to create a compelling LinkedIn profile, and how to stand out in the job interview.
Who are the coaches?
The ReDI career training program is offered by HR-experts working in the tech industry (Zalando, Delivery Hero, N26, SAP, Hello Fresh and many more).
Do I need to register for the workshops?
No. The ReDI Career Workshops are part of our regular curriculum. There is no need to register separately. Students of the UX/UI class who want to participate need to get in touch with Benjamin.
I work in HR. Can I volunteer as a teacher?
Sure! We are constantly searching for new HR-coaches who want to support or develop new great career workshops to prepare our students and alumni to start their tech career. Interested? Sign up here.
With the Mentorship Program we connect our students and alumni of the Digital Career Program with (IT) professionals from leading companies such as Zalando, Microsoft, SAP and Coca-Cola. As a student or "mentee" you get guidance, career advice and high-level support with your personal and professional development.
How often shall mentor & mentee meet?
Ideally, mentees and mentors meet every 2-3 weeks. The minimum is 6 sessions of 1 hour throughout the semester.
I would like to have a mentor. What shall I do now?
In order to find you the right partner, we have created the matching platform “ReDI Connect”.

Why become a mentor?
"Giving people a chance to grow into a new profession and culture is a vital part for someone's individual development but also for our society. Volunteering to personally support ReDI School's mission to break down barriers and unlock human potential regardless of their background, harmonizes with my ideal of helping others to grow. The mentor program provides a great opportunity to make an impact and help one's professional progression through a one-on-one relationship while also learning from the mentee.“

How does it work and what can I expect?
A career counseling session takes around 45-60 mins and will take place either in the ReDI Headquarter or in the offices of our external career coaches (e.g. plista, N26, Zalando, Delivery Hero). In the session, we do not tell you what career we think is right for you. Rather, we work with you to help you reflect on your motivations, your values in order to help you choose a career that you really enjoy.
