Project Work: How to start a realistic Data Project with a team and agile methods. 

Python, Data Analytics or Machine Learning - depending on your interest and prior knowledge you can take over project tasks in these areas.

Team Work: How to work in a team and share tasks

Agile: How to break down the work into sprints to achieve the team goal

Communication: How to communicate and present the findings of the project 

Job Readiness: Soft skills through career training geared towards preparing you for job applications & interviews, networking events and job fairs. 

Sessions: Two sessions a week. It is essential that you attend both online sessions. 80% of attendance and project completion is required for graduation.

Guides: Your guides are experts in the industry and volunteer to support your learning journey. They are not teaching but guiding you in the project. There are no classic lectures. 

Learning Style: At ReDI, we believe in project-based learning. You will complete three projects throughout the course. This requires a lot of independent self-study. The teachers help you explain the concepts only at a high level. You are putting them into practice in your project.

Active Work: Note this is NOT a passive, lecture-style environment. Each learner is expected to be self-driven and motivated to code and work hands-on each week on the project. ReDI to start coding? Then join us!

You are interested in Data Analytics and Machine Learning

You have a solid understanding of Python

You have either a good understanding of Machine Learning (you have built first ML models before) or a solid understanding of Data Analytics (you have used pandas, seaborn, numpy, plotly, SQL)

You are motivated to work on a project also independently. 

You can understand and speak English

You can commit at least 15 hours a week

Portfolio - You will have built your own project and can showcase it for your portfolio.

Communicator - You will be a better communicator and will understand the complexities of sharing tasks and motivating each other.

Job Search - You will have more experience to talk about in interviews and can start looking for internships and junior positions.
