Course Overview

Short Description: Learn the fundamentals of using a computer in a friendly, supportive evening class. Perfect for anyone wanting to build digital confidence for everyday life, studies, or future employment.

Language of Instruction: English (Note: Depending on student needs, this may be adjusted to Easy Swedish).

- Learn how to turn on, navigate, and safely use a laptop.
- Master using a mouse/trackpad and typing on a keyboard.
- Create, organize, and find your files and folders.
- Learn how to browse the internet, use search engines, and stay safe online.
- Set up and use a personal email address to send messages and attachments.
- Migrants and newcomers in Gothenburg who have little to no prior experience using a laptop or computer and want a welcoming place to learn.
No prior computer skills are needed.

Format: In‑person
Location: Community Center Brunnsbo, Folkvisegatan 14, 422 51 Hisings Backa. (Nearest bus stop: Balladgatan)

Support Offered:

Laptops: If you have your own computer we encourage you to bring it. But You do not need your own computer! ReDI School provides a laptop for you to use.
Childcare: To be decided. We are currently looking into childcare options for this course—updates will be provided soon!
