About us
ReDI School is a non-profit tech school for women with migrant- and refugee background, offering a free program, including IT and tech courses on several levels. Our focus is to create digital empowerment by supporting women in getting access to digital skills and a social & professional network in Sweden. We also work for more diversity and inclusion in the Swedish labor market, especially in the tech sector We believe that newcomers are a great opportunity for society and we are here to give them a helping hand to make use of their potential.

The Collaboration: As a key foundational supporter, the Jane och Dan Olssons Stiftelse provides funding that helps launch ReDI School's operations directly within the Gothenburg region, allowing us to keep our courses entirely free for students.

Community Center Brunnsbo
The Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with the municipality via Community Center Brunnsbo, we are bringing our digital literacy courses straight into the neighborhood. The Community Center in Brunnsbo hosts two of our Introduction to Computers courses, providing an accessible, trusted local space for our students.

Our Impact & Success Stories
Bridging the Local Divide
By establishing deep roots in Brunnsbo, Gamlestaden, and Tynnered simultaneously, our partnerships ensure that geographical or financial barriers never stand in the way of digital literacy. Together, we provide over 30 hours of local, hyper-targeted classroom support each semester, supplying both the technology (laptops) and the human network needed for successful integration.
Corporate Partnership & Volunteering Opportunities
Is your company looking to make a measurable social impact in Gothenburg? We are always looking for new corporate allies to join our ecosystem. Here is how your team can get involved:
Corporate Volunteering: Give your employees the opportunity to use their skills for good. Tech professionals, managers, and administrators can join us as volunteer teachers or mentors, donating a few hours a week directly within our classrooms.
Host a Study Visit: Welcome a class of ReDI students to your corporate office in Gothenburg to show them what a Swedish tech workplace looks like and inspire their future careers.
Tech Donations: Help us keep our hardware up to date. We are always looking for donations of high-quality, refurbished laptops to hand out to students during our courses.

Our Team
Nigar Ibrahim, Digital Women Program Coordinator

Nigar Ibrahim is a dedicated leader, human rights advocate, and community builder with a long-standing commitment to integration and equality in Gothenburg. With an educational background as both a lawyer (jurist) and an educator, she has spent decades actively working against discrimination and empowering individuals to reach their full potential. Before her work with ReDI School, Nigar made a significant impact on Gothenburg's social landscape. She previously worked as a jurist supporting immigrant families and children's rights organizations like BRIS. She is notably recognized as the founder and operations manager of Sharaf Hjältar (Honor Heroes) and Sharaf Hjältinnor in Gothenburg, an initiative focused on engaging young people to shift attitudes around honor-based oppression, promote human rights, and foster inclusion within local communities. As well as initiating the network Women United Power, a network to empower, support, and uplift women.. She has a long background supporting entrepreneurs as an advisor and mentor in Gothenburg as well as established various mentorship programs. Her tireless dedication to creating a more integrated, respectful, and equal city earned her the prestigious title of "Årets Göteborgare" (Göteborg City Ambassador of the Year) in 2009. Today, Nigar brings her extensive expertise, legal background, and passion for digital inclusion to ReDI School Gothenburg, where she drives the mission to provide women with migrant and refugee backgrounds the tech skills and professional networks needed to thrive in the Swedish labor market.
Robin Meijer, Student Experience Coordinator
Robin Meijer is a passionate educator, business advisor, and mentor dedicated to driving digital inclusion and empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds to thrive in Gothenburg. Before joining the team at ReDI School, Robin built an extensive background in business development, cooperative entrepreneurship, and adult education within the local ecosystem. He previously worked as a Business Advisor at Coompanion Göteborgsregionen, where he guided aspiring entrepreneurs and cooperatives on how to build sustainable business models and turn innovative ideas into reality. Alongside his advisory work, Robin spent significant time directly involved in integration and community development. There, he developed and led specialized "Start Your Business" (starta eget) courses specifically designed for migrants, providing crucial educational foundations and helping foreign-born individuals confidently navigate Swedish regulations to launch their own enterprises. Today, Robin brings this powerful combination of business insight, educational expertise, and passion for social impact to ReDI School Gothenburg. He uses his experience to bridge the gap between education and the local professional market, helping students unlock new career paths and opportunities.
