Course Overview

Take your first steps into the digital world. This warm and welcoming in-person course teaches you the essential computer skills you need for everyday life, communication, and work in Sweden.

Language of Instruction: Easy Swedish

- Learn how to turn on, navigate, and safely use a laptop.
- Master using a mouse/trackpad and typing on a keyboard.
- Create, organize, and find your files and folders.
- Learn how to browse the internet, use search engines, and stay safe online.
- Set up and use a personal email address to send messages and attachments.
- Migrants and newcomers in Gothenburg who have little to no prior experience using a laptop or computer and want a welcoming place to learn.
No prior computer skills are needed.

Format: In‑person
Duration: 12 classes in total with start in September.
Location: Reningsborg Tynnered, Reningsverksgatan 1, 426 71 Västra Frölunda. (Nearest bus stop: Ängås)

Support Offered:

Laptops: If you have your own computer we encourage you to bring it. But You do not need your own computer! ReDI School provides a laptop for you to use.
Childcare: To be decided. We are currently looking into childcare options for this course—updates will be provided soon!
