ReDI Career Track: User-Centered Design
Course Overview
User Interface (UI) Design equips you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to enter the field of UI design. Through a series of engaging lectures and hands-on exercises, you’ll be guided through building your first UI case, a key project for your professional portfolio. By the end of the course, you’ll have a solid foundation in UI principles, experience working with industry-standard tools, and strengthened communication and presentation skills.

In this course, you will master:
Fundamental Principles of Design: Learn the basics of color theory, typography, responsive design, accessibility, and how to design for specific user groups.
Design Tools & Prototyping: Become confident using Figma to create responsive components, build design systems, and produce clickable prototypes.
UI Best Practices: Understand how to create user-friendly and inclusive interfaces based on usability principles.
Portfolio Preparation: Develop and present your first UI case to showcase your skills to future employers.
Professional Skills: Strengthen your soft skills, including communication, giving and receiving feedback, and preparing for job applications and interviews.

You have a high level in English: Ensuring you can understand and engage with course materials.
You are digitally comfortable: You have a basic understanding of digital tools and technologies.
You have a high interest in: User Interface, designs and are passionate about creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs with design tools like Figma.
You can commit: Commit to attending classes regularly and participating actively to at least 10 out of 12 classes.
