The goal of Cisco and ReDI School is to provide students with valuable digital skills, a growth mindset, strengthened career skills and a strong community of tech professionals. The internship is funded by Cisco’s global executive team to create new opportunities and bring to life Cisco’s goal of “enabling an inclusive future for all”.

Our ReDI Job Fair in Berlin, hosted by Microsoft, was a success. 80+ ReDI tech talents interviewed with 20+ hiring companies. Our panel discussion, pre-job fair, stressed diversification and equality to enrich their workforce. Let’s hope that many ReDI tech talents fill those job openings!

Statistic from AIB-BAMF (2018) showed that after 5 years in Germany, only 49% of people with refugee status are in jobs. ReDI School knows we can do better and is building platforms to help improve these numbers.

How early do we need to teach our children the insights they need for their future job?

ReDI has become a growing talent pool for Cisco. More than 20 students have found internships or permanent positions at Cisco in recent years. Co-creating courses to train for specific skills has proven a success.
