It's a match again! This time 16 ReDI talents join Cloudreach

16 ReDI students from all our schools in Germany - 11 of them are female - are starting their career in the tech field at Cloudreach. We joined the kick-off event together with our alumni, celebrating their success.

This semester in Berlin: Our team accepted the invitation of Cloudreach to join a special event: The 4th Cloudreach Talent Academy Kick-off. This time the leadership team has decided to tackle the lack of skilled professionals in the technical field. Their approach: recruiting a group of diverse talents who have shown the motivation, grit, resilience, and the maturity to value this special opportunity.

We were pleasantly impressed and proud to see that out of 20 new trainees, 16 were former ReDI School participants and 11 (almost 70%) of these ReDI talents were female!  A great recognition of our work, training highly motivated tech talents with diverse backgrounds in coding and soft skills to prepare them for a career in the tech field.

The Talent Academy, now in its 4th cohort, continues to drive its mission of diversifying the talent pool and creating safe, inclusive environments where that talent can thrive. Partnerships such as those with ReDI help us hone in closer to that mission.

Cloudreach Leadership Team meets ReDI School.

At the kick-off event Cloudreach has shown interest and respect for the individual stories of their new team members, and time to share with them. This says a lot about the welcoming working environment where everyone is respected and valued. These are values we share and it makes us happy for our students that have made it here!

The Student Experience

One of our students is Rima Alhamwi, from Syria:

“ I graduated from the Institute of Computer Engineering with a Bachelor in Computer & Information Systems. I worked in a telecommunication company in Syria before I came to Germany to begin a new life with a new language and a new culture.

I had several non-technical jobs but decided to pursue my passion in tech with the help of ReDI School, where I had the opportunity to learn technical skills like Python and Data Analytics.

The experience of the assessment day at Cloudreach made me realize this was the place for me. I want to thank Cloudreach for investing in me and I want to succeed in this challenge to succeed in front of Cloudreach.”

ReDI Talent Success Program

Our students' path was supported by the ReDI Career Team by training them in soft skills and using the ReDI Talent Pool, to connect our tech talents with hiring companies.

“The ReDI Talent Pool made it very easy for us to find so many skilled people, with diverse backgrounds. With ReDIs support we found some of the best candidates for the program” says Poonam Flammarion.

The whole ReDI team is really happy for this success and looks forward to more opportunities in the future. We wish this new group a great start with this new challenge!  We know they worked hard to meet and exceed expectations!
