ReDI Talent Summit Munich 2025 – When Talent Meets Opportunity

The atmosphere? Energetic, hopeful, and full of purpose.

On July 21, 2025, the Munich Urban Colab turned into a space full of connection, conversation, and career-building:

At the ReDI Talent Summit, over 70 international talents met with 19 forward-thinking companies and organizations for an inspiring morning of networking, job matching, and mutual learning.

Opening Remarks: “Skilled labor shortage is not just a statistic”

The event kicked off with opening remarks from Dr. Christian Scharpf, Head of Economic and Labor Affairs for the City of Munich. In his speech, he highlighted the relevance of formats like the ReDI Talent Summit in addressing one of today’s most pressing challenges: the skilled labor shortage.

Munich needs skilled professionals—and these talents are already here. ReDI builds real bridges between the city’s economy and international potential.
— Dr. Christian Scharpf

Making Talent Visible—Online and Offline

Among inspiring contributions from our ReDI Alumni as well as partners and projects on stage, a highlight of the day: our LinkedIn Clinic.
The LinkedIn team offered 1:1 profile coaching sessions and brought a professional portrait photographer, giving our talents strong tools for their digital self-presentation.

Additionally, many thanks to Deloitte for providing delicious catering that fueled good conversations and connections throughout the event.

Strong partnerships make it possible

The ReDI Talent Summit was realized with the support of the City of Munich, especially the Department of Labor and Economic Development. A big thank you to Julia Christiansen for hosting us in the fantastic Munich Urban Colab — a space built for innovation and collaboration.

A big thank you also goes to all other exhibitors, sponsors, and partners — in particular to the Federal Ministry of Education, Family, Seniors, Women, and Youth with its action program “Equality in the Labor Market. Creating Perspectives” (GAPS) for supporting our female learners within our career program “She’s ReDI”. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) for supporting innovative measures in the field of vocational education in the BamBBi project.

And now?

We have already received enthusiastic feedback from companies discovering new perspectives, and from talents making valuable contacts that will carry them forward.

Whether it’s an internship, job placement, or a new project—we love to hear how the connections made at the Talent Summit continue to grow.
