Become a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer

Course Overview

    • Brief introduction of Python

    • Basic data types (booleans, numbers, strings, lists, dictionaries)

    • Usage of variables

    • Operations (Logical and Arithmetic)

    • Boolean logic and decision making

    • Conditionals (if, if else, else)

    • Iterative programming

    • Functions (parameters, return value)

    • Strings and String Operations

    • Data Manipulation

    • Object-oriented Programming

    • Modules

    • Language constructs & Tools

    • Error Handling, Debugging, and Testing

    • Linting

    • Introduction to Pandas

    • Job Readiness: Soft skills through career trainings geared towards preparing you for job applications & interviews, networking events and job fairs.

    • You will learn from experts in the industry to start a career in tech.

    • You have successfully completed ReDI Introduction to Computer Science or equivalent.

    • You have a basic understanding of computer programming in any programming language with familiarity to concepts like variables, conditional statements, loops, arithmetic operations and boolean logic, algorithms etc.

    • You are able to understand and speak English.

    • You can commit at least 10 hours a week (classes + self-study) 80% attendance of the course is required for graduation.

  • Introduction to Programming and Computer Science

    • You can write, execute and debug programs in Python.

    • You have built your own Python project.

    • You know what it takes to start a career in tech, how to set up a good Linkedin profile, and how to create a powerful CV.

    • You are ready to start the Data Analytics course at ReDI.
